KATIE EARY

Katie Eary's haze of bright floral and blue lobster prints really stood out to me throughout the collection. Using navy as a base colours her electrifying prints really made a statement. 

 

Oversized mohair coats; single breasted jackets; leather sleeves with rib detail; eyelet detailing in half moon shapes on denim straight-leg trousers; hologram effect versus a print clash; boxy sweatshirts and metallic materials were in full swing whilst red and purple patent soles shined through courtesy of Nike ID Air Jordan's.  

 

Chains and chokers in gold or silver accessories embellished the models, flattering the ‘lobster spaceship’ and ‘corpse bouquet’. Glitter infused sunglasses were my desired piece, with the final run being the exception. Eary did indeed offer up a space explosion of colour for her AW13 collection.
