The one show that really concluded London Fashion week for me had to be House of Holland purely for their vibrancy, fun, creative energy. Henry Holland named his collection ' Nana Rave' taking inspiration from 1989 acid house scene mixing it up with bright bold 1970's interior prints with 90's embellishments.
The collection had such an array of styles from gracious swirl print twinsets, tortoise shell pencil skirts, psychedelic shirts and martini glass patterned suits to a long purple dress embellished with 90's styled jewels. You say what? Whats a Ravin Nana? It's the young culture you see in East London dressing like oldies with a 90's edge. I just wanted to embrace it!
Henry's collection this season seemed to come across more clean, more unified as an upmarket designer brand still keeping its crazy, fun upbeat characteristics. So to all you Nana's get ya rave on and keep ya eye out on what Henry's got coming next!
